Why I love scouting: I am an Eagle Scout, and both my brothers are Eagle Scouts. Scouting is in my blood! It has given me many valuable skills and opportunities that have helped shape me. I am glad to be involved as an adult leader, leading my son through his Scouting journey!

Outside of pack: I work at Lone Star College, where I support our Dual Credit program at the system level. I served 9 years in the United States Army as a Logistics Officer and have held leadership roles for over 20 years. I love spending time with my family and doing all things related to Scouting!

Reach out anytime — if you have a question about the pack, the program, or your scout, I’m happy to help.

A Pack 12 family of six. Ryan’s older boy crossed over to Scouts BSA Troop 113 (he’s 11 now); his younger boy is an 8-year-old Wolf in Pack 12. Now in his sixth year with the pack, he’s worked his way up the ranks alongside them as a den leader for Wolves, Bears, Webelos, and Arrow of Light — if you want to know what to expect from any of those years, he’s the one to ask.

By day he runs the family business with his brother and dad, manufacturing and installing basketball hoops in Houston and nationwide.

He’s happiest competing at a campout cook-off. His calling card: deep-fried donuts with powdered sugar shots for everybody.

For Ryan, scouting is about unforgettable family time, growing leadership skills, and pushing everyone — kids and parents — out of their comfort zones to try something new.

He currently serves as Pack 12’s New Member Coordinator — if your family has questions about joining, getting started, or anything in between, reach out anytime. He also runs this website, so if you spot something broken or out of date, give him a nudge.

My great wife (Jessica) and kids (Henry, James, Claire, and Emily) have been a part of pack 12 since 2020.

I love scouting because its mission shines so brightly in our daily lives. Pack 12 really does help teach scouts how to make moral and ethical choices throughout their lives.

On the daily, I build robots as an engineer in the oilfield. I love working out too! Come hit the gym with me.

Reach out anytime — if you have a question about the pack, the program, or your scout.

I’m happy to help!
