Pack 12 Signature Events

Beyond regular den and pack meetings, Pack 12 holds several big events each year. These are the moments families remember — the traditions that turn a year of scouting into something larger.

Annual events

  • Pinewood Derby — January The iconic Cub Scout race. Scouts build wooden cars and race them down a track. Often the most-attended event of the year.

  • Blue & Gold Banquet — February Cub Scouting’s birthday celebration, with rank advancement, the Crossover Ceremony, and a meal together.

  • Rain Gutter Regatta The Pinewood Derby’s nautical cousin. Scouts build small sailboats and race them down water-filled rain gutters by blowing on the sail.

  • Campouts — multiple times a year Pack-wide family campouts at council camps and area parks.

  • Service Projects — throughout the year Helping the Tomball community — flag ceremonies, cleanups, food drives, and more.

  • Crossover Ceremony — late spring The ceremony where Arrow of Light scouts officially move up to Scouts BSA.

  • Popcorn Fundraiser — fall Trail’s End popcorn sales that fund pack activities and scout accounts.
