Training for parents and leaders
Every adult who plans to volunteer with Pack 12 needs to complete Youth Protection Training (YPT) before working with scouts. It’s free, online, and takes about 30 minutes. Highly recommended for all parents — even if you don’t plan to lead — so you understand how the pack keeps scouts safe.
- Youth Protection Training — log in to my.scouting.org, find it under “My Training”
If you’re going to take on a leadership role (den leader, committee member, etc.), there’s additional position-specific training, also free and mostly online. We’ll point you to it when you take on a role.
